How to Achieve the Sleek Look
STEP 1
Shampoo & condition hair. Use a good brand shampoo and conditioner it helps to give the final finishing touches. Towel dry the hair, do not be too rough with the hair perhaps scrunch the hair between the towel, removing as much excess moisture as possible; this leaves the hair easier to dry and style. Leaving too much moisture in the hair will only prolong the drying process and can cause dry and frizzy hair.
STEP 2
Blast hair with hairdryer all over until nearly dry, put the dryer on the maximum heat and highest wind setting; Ensure the hairdryer does not actually touch the hair, maintain a distance of around 10cm this will ensure the dryer does not burn the hair. Smooth hair over with a flat paddle brush or round brush, this will help the smoothing process. Sectioning the hair will make it easier, this allows you to get to every part of the hair ensuring it is all dried and smoothed in the same fashion. Starting from the nape of the neck working your way up the back of the head, this will enable that every part and root of the hiar is dried and can maintain the look.
STEP 3
Take small sections of hair and straighten from root to tip, run straightener’s slowly over sections of hair This is much quicker and friendlier for the hair. After hair has been straightened leave to cool in the desired shape and style, DO NOT BRUSH brushing will only make the hair fall out of shape. We heat the hair to mould it into the desired shape and brushing it after will only cause the hair to fall out of shape.

Systems & smoothing crèmes! Apply before drying, this will protect the hair from the heat of the hairdryer and allow you to style more easily. This gives the hair protection before the drying and straightening begins so will add to the final.
HOW MUCH TO USE AND HOW TO APPLY
A ten pence piece in your hand should be enough, Apply evenly through midlengths of hair and ends of hair. Fine or short hair, a five pence piece size should do the trick! Dont over do it with the products as they can make the hair look greasy and will tarnish the end product.

when hair is sectioned to straighten add spray to midlengths and ends making sure the hair is evenly covered. This will protect hair from the heat of straighteners and make your hair feel soft. They smell nice too I would suggest you invest in a brand name product as the cheaper version do not seem to give the finish you may desire.
SOFT WAX SPRAY SYSTEMS
Wax spray systems will put a lovely shiny finish on your hair, stick any stray hairs down and keep out the humidity. Apply evenly again, not too much on roots; it will make it look greasy. These sprays can be obtained from most chemists and your local hairdresser. They will ensure the final look is sleek and sophisticated.
