I have light hair and want a darker colour what would you advise?

I have dark hair and want a lighter colour what would you advise?
Don’t go to drastic as hair colour can dramatically change your appearance. Go for a slightly lighter colour first. We recommend a skin tone test, we can arrange this for you with a stylist so you can find the best colour for you >>More
How many difference colours can I have in my hair at one time?
We recommend only one colour and two highlights maximum as not to cause too much damage to your hair or cause any bad reactions. This is usually sufficient but if you have any queries don’t hesitate to contact us >>More
Colour gone wrong what can I do?
Firstly don’t panic, your hair is damaged as the cuticle is freaking out from all the chemical processes. It will relax a little bit naturally but get a good moisturizing deep conditioner and apply smoothly through your hair trying not to damage the hair anymore. This would keep it from tangling up and give it a chance to rest. Use cool water when rinsing the conditioner out and try not to tug on it. After you have done this give us a call and we will send a stylist round to you as soon as possible to sort this out.>>More
What’s the difference between capped and foils highlights?
Highlighting can be done in several different ways but the two main and most commonly used methods are done using foil packets to separate the hair being coloured from the rest of the hair or using a plastic cap or bag to separate the hair. >>More
Capped highlights are cheaper than foils and also allot quicker but only one colour at a time can be used and is only suitable for short hair as the process can put unnecessary stress on mid to long hair. This can also be painful as a hook is used to pull strands of hair through the cap. This is not suitable for curly hair as it tangles as it is pulled through the cap and isn’t good at getting close to the scalp when the hair is very thick so can be hard to place highlights in nape area close to the scalp. Using a cap makes it hard to control highlight placement and to get them exactly where you want. >>More
Foils take longer and are more expensive they are Painless, many different colours can be applied at one time and it gets the highlights closer to the scalp and the hairline. You can also get the stripes of colour exactly where you want them and can create differing sizes of light more easily e.g. thick swoosh’s of colour or fine strands. This method does not stress the hair as there is no pulling of strands through tiny holes. Due to this is a more technical method not all stylist can do foil highlights >>More

I have been dying my hair for many years now but want to return to my natural colour is this possible?

Is a trail essential for a wedding?
No, it's not essential but if at all possible we do highly recommend that you have a trial. A trial usually takes place several weeks before your actual wedding and is a good way to save precious time on the big day by trying out any different styles that you would like and deciding before your wedding so you don’t have any extra worries on your big day. We would advise a trial two months to two weeks before your wedding day >>More
I want a trial - what's included?
During this relaxed consultation, the stylist will normally try out two or three different looks and style’s, and you can choose the one you like best without feeling pressured by time to make a decision, you might like to try out some techniques that you perhaps wouldn't have felt confident choosing if you were meeting the stylist for the first time on your wedding day. For instance, you could think about hairpieces or something underneath your hair to give it extra height or thickness. Like wedding rehearsals, dress fittings, and taster menus, a trial is a good way to ensure you get exactly what you want on your big day. This gives you time to think over your decision and not feel rushed or forced into any think you may later regret. >>More
My hair is not very long - can I still wear it up?
This entirely depends on the thickness of your hair but short hair is just as versatile as long and with short hair you'd be surprised how many options you have just by drying it differently, adding product, or hair accessories. If you would like your hair up a good option would be putting in a hair piece, they can be matched perfectly to your own hair colour, and the effect is so natural looking that nobody would notice the difference. Hair pieces are also great for adding volume to fine hair.
When should I wash my hair? before you arrive?
Ideally yes. If you are having your hair up, We usually advise you wash it the night before - this ensures your hair is not too soft, making it easier to put up and stay up. If on the other hand you are having your hair blow dried, its better that you wait until we arrive so that we can see any natural waves or kinks. That way we have a better idea of technique and the right products to use
Many of our stylists can cater to these needs so call us and we should be able to arrange something for you, Demand is high so please allow plenty of notice.
Do you cater for Afro-Caribbean hair?
Yes but this is limited service and only available in certain area’s call to find out if we can service your needs
Can you straighten Curly Hair?
Yes Curly Hair can be straightened >> More
