Our Attention Gets You Noticed.
New Hair Styles
New hair styles are always a risk, not only because you may be changing the whole
of your look so it can be quite hard on the eye. Even when you have seen the look
you really like usually in a magazine or on a friend. Sometimes these looks and styles
may not suit your face or your complexion. With the help of your stylist you should
be able to decide what look will best suit you, so make sure you have an idea to
discuss or a picture.
Changing your look completely can be a difficult decision, so make sure you have
a definite idea or image and style that has caught your eye. New styles usually come
from current trends or people in the public eye, pop stars, and film stars, even
soap stars. How many people remember the Rachel from friends€™ hair cut, and how
many of our friends and family ended up with that style or the lady Di cut?
To begin with I would definitely look around and choose what style will suit you
and what you think will go with your required style. You may be able to accomplish
your desired look even if the more severe styles would never suit you at all, your
stylist may be able to achieve a similar kind of style.
All kinds of styles can be achieved, shorter hair can with a little help become
a long hairstyle, new technology is so far advanced that we can have hair attached
for long periods of time. The longer hairstyles just offer so many more options to
change your look. Which means that shorter hairstyles are quite limited and they
can be more extreme. But it does not now mean that we have to be stuck with the shorter
styles.
A new hairstyle can keep us up with the times and our hair can finish off that new
trendy look. Certain styles can be modified to suit any face shape any colouring
and any complexion. Complimenting your new hairstyle with a new set of colours. Any
new style can leave you feeling a little anxious, so discuss it with your hairdresser.
I have recently had to cut a clients hair that wanted the Pob at least five times
before she eventually got to the desired length. This was after a lengthy discussion
and lots of reassurance that we would take the cut gradually.
Your stylist should take your views and requirements for your new hair cut into
consideration, only you know what you can manage every morning before you leave for
work. You know what colours and styles you want to achieve so work with your hairdresser
and between you, you should be able to come up with a decent compromise. Your stylist
will ensure you can get as close to that glossy photograph in the magazines.
So long as you have a good relationship with your hairdresser any style can be achieved,
with some gentle teasing and creations any style you desire can become a reality.
Offer a selection of chosen styles and your stylist will work with you to achieve
that just left the hairdresser look. Remember that shorter styles may limit your
choices and options although, you can now add hair extensions, hairpieces and even
wigs to help cover up the shorter style until your hair has grown to your desired
length.
Work with your stylist and over a matter of weeks or even months you can take your
new hairstyle to new extreme lengths, as with my client who went from having quite
a long straight hairstyle to a very severe Pob, with the points of the Pob still
offering her length yet the extremity of the style offered her the trendy stylish
look without loosing length. This was accomplished by taking the length of the hair
around the nape area at least two inches shorter each time we cut it. Eventually
the hair at the nape of the neck was shaved short and her Pob retained the desired
length.
