Your Wedding Day is Special, and
you will want to look the part. A trial is recommended before your hair is dressed
on the actual day. A trial is a bit like a practise so the stylist knows exactly
what needs to be done on the day and to put your nerves at rest. Also if you are
in two minds i.e. you're not sure if you want your hair up or down, trials give you
the opportunity to try both. An idea of how long your hair is going to take on the
actual day needs to be discovered as well so we can make sure everything goes to
plan and you look stunning. This allows you to be able to try on headwear and also
change your mind if you wish about what style or hair decorations that you will wear.
Having a trial also gives you time to get to know your stylist and feel confident
that on the day there will be no hitches, regarding your hair anyway. Hairdressers
can have a huge effect on your special day, so being with a stylist that you are
unsure of will not give you the confidence to relax and let them create a masterpiece
on your head.
Everyone is going to be there and photographs are going to be taken,
bearing in mind they are going to be looked at when they are developed and in the
future. I look at my aunties wedding pictures and think, why did she choose this
style? Big curly hair I'm sure she was the princess in the Eighties. Photographs
last a lifetime, and capture the moment, the special day. They hold memories of the

are wearing glasses needs to be taken on into account when choosing a hairstyle.
A brides hair I dressed recently (trial) is planning to wear a bask type dress, which
would have a lot of her back showing, so she decided to wear her hair down. Loose,
long and thick curls falling down her back and then a piece of hair gripped up at
the front for her crown, well tiara but might as well of been a crown to sit on.
If you are wearing a dress with a collar or high cut then maybe consider wearing
your hair up so there isn't too much going on around the shoulder area. This is where
trials are crucial, all the things that need to be considered regarding the dress
and what will flatter the whole look need to be discussed with your stylist who can
advise and assist in creating the desired look. Your stylist will be able to work
with you on your requirement and help when our vision may not be very realistic.
Leaving time for change and adjustments will be vital to ensure the final result
is perfection itself.
Having your hair styled at home gives you the advantage of trying your dress on and
seeing exactly how it is going to look. Maybe get a friend or family member to pop
round to see what their opinion is. Also hotel visits can be arranged it will cost
more, but for your hair to look exactly how you want it on your special day it will
be well worth it. Having the luxury on your wedding day to not rush off to the salon
but have your stylist visit it you where you will be leaving for the church from
will allow you to feel a little less stressed. The day itself will create enough
stress creating situations, wanting everything to go right. Sit back and wait for
your stylist to create your crowning glory surrounded by your chosen people, family,
friends, loved ones.
If you're visiting a hair salon then when you have your trial take a photo in of
your dress and any hair jewellery that is going to be worn. This will give the stylist
an idea of how your hair is going to sit with the dress and can give ideas or spot
any problems that might occur. On the actual day of the wedding wearing a zip up
top will prevent any problems of trying to pull your top over your head and ruining
your hair. Ensure if the weather is bad you have good coverage for your hair you
wouldn't want to let rain or wind spoil your look.
